Kenji's Training Empty
PostSubject: Kenji's Training   Kenji's Training EmptyMon Jun 06, 2011 7:04 pm

Kenji and DemiMeramon looked out amongst the fields that had become the general training area in the digital world. "Hrm....Well no point in just standing here, let's get started Demi." Demi Meramon smiled and nodded, "Ya let's train, and become stronger and...and...KICK SOME ARSE!!!" Kenji scowled at DemiMeramon and said, "Hey watch the language." To anyone else he wouldn't have even batted an eye, but with DemiMeramon it was like having a little brother. As such he had to protect DemiMeramon not only from danger but corruption too, and corruption included language. "Sorry Kenji..." Demi Meramon's flame grew smaller and dark as the small digimon became depressed. Kenji smiled and chuckled, patting DemiMeramon on the back...er....head area, "Hey buddy don't worry about it, I'm not mad." DemiMeramon lit up again and smiled, floating off quickly into the training area. "Boy, someone's certainly eager to get started." Kenji smiled and strode down the hill, his shoes kicking up grass and dirt as he made sure not to go rolling down the hill and break something. In a world filled with monsters it was never a good idea to sprain an ankle or break a wrist, those things would just get you killed. "Survival of the fittest." Kenji muttered to himself, thinking allowed as he walked up behind DemiMeramon.

"Ok Demi, let's see what you got, hit that patch of grass with a fireball." Kenji commanded his digimon as he retrieved his digivice from his pocket and brought up the menu displaying DemiMeramon's stats. He had to watch the poor guy's health and energy levels. Kenji knew DemiMeramon would push himself past his limits and that would be bad. The last thing Kenji wanted was for DemiMeramon to exhaust himself and be left wide open for an attack from a random, hungry digimon. Meanwhile, DemiMeramon obeyed Kenji and sucked in air before exhaling a small fireball that lazily floated towards the area indicated and exploded. It caused a small fire and burned the grass a little bit, but other than that it was pretty pathetic. Kenji tried to hide his disappointment but DemiMeramon was disappointed in himself as well, "Aw come on that sucked." The poor puffball of fire whined. "Hey buddy don't get so upset, we just have to try harder. Here I'll practice with you." Kenji said, trying to boost the digimon's morale a bit. DemiMeramon liked this suggestion and brightened up a bit, "Ok, let's do it!" Kenji smiled and got in position next to his digimon partner. The two inhaled deeply together before exhaling in unison. For Kenji a solid glob of spit came bursting out from his lips and weakly landed on the patch of grass beneath him. As for DemiMeramon, a rather large, at least by his standards, fireball erupted from the small digimon's mouth and exploded. It set the grassy section ablaze and Kenji wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve as he stared at the fire in amazement. "Woe, way to go DemiMeramon, see? I told you you could do it." DemiMeramon just smiled as his eyes reflected the dancing flames that ate through the ground like a hungry animal. They danced in the sky and the two companions watched the fire burn itself out together before heading back into the regular digital world.

Kenji's Training Empty
PostSubject: Re: Kenji's Training   Kenji's Training EmptyTue Jun 07, 2011 7:45 pm

The group had set up camp, or at the very least had erected a measly shelter to call home for the time being. Kenji wasn't happy that they were staying in one place for an extended period of time, but the group had made a decision and he was after all, part of the group. Kenji watched Virgil closely from time to time, he figured he was just another emo jerk that had probably been emotionally scarred or something. But, there was malice in his eyes, something deep below him that Kenji wasn't sure what it was exactly, nor if it was really there or he was just imagining things. Either way, he didn't really care. Kenji looked over at DemiMeramon and smiled at the small digimon who was happily singeing pieces of wood with Sunmon. "Hey DemiMeramon, hate to break up the fun, but first of all you're going to start a fire and kill us all, and second we should probably go train a bit. It won't help us much if we're too weak to fight for our lives." Kenji said as he walked up to the two digimon. DemiMeramon thought carefully about this and then nodded in agreement, "Hrm...good point Kenji-boy, let's go burn some things." DemiMeramon said this with a cute, but deviant tone. Kenji just chuckled and followed his puff ball of fire into the forest to train and 'burn things'.

They picked an opening in the forest where the trees were parted slightly, letting sun light in and giving them a big enough area to train without starting a forest fire. "Ok Demi, let's hit the ground with another one of your classic fireballs." Kenji commanded his digimon. DemiMeramon smiled wickedly as he inhaled and unleashed a mini fireball on the ground in front of him. The fire started up just like it always had and DemiMeramon watched with delight and pleasure, so much so that Kenji almost felt bad when he said, "Sorry buddy, but you're gonna have to do better, that just wasn't enough. Sure you could irritate some digimon with that attack, but...well it just wouldn't do much." DemiMeramon frowned and for a second Kenji feared he had hurt his friend's feelings, but then DemiMeramon's face lit up, "You're right, we have to get stronger!" With that he began releasing multiple fireballs this way and that, careful to avoid Kenji but making sure to burn everything around him. "Whoa careful DemiMeramon, we don't want to start a fire!" Kenji called to his partner as he retrieved his digivice and frowned at DemiMeramon's power and energy levels. Something wasn't right, they weren't going down, in fact, they were rising. That didn't make sense, with the amount of fireballs DemiMeramon was volleying off, surely his energy levels would be dropping dramatically.

"Uh...DemiMeram-" Kenji began but was interrupted when DemiMeramon suddenly stopped his attacks and began to turn blue and purple. "Urgh...I don't feel so hot Kenji, literally, I suddenly feel all cold inside." DemiMeramon groaned. Kenji rushed over and caught DemiMeramon as he began to fall towards the ground, "I told you you were using too much energy, probably burnt yourself right out, now just sit tight an-" Kenji stopped suddenly as his digivice began going crazy and making strange sounds. At the same time, DemiMeramon turned white and began to glow and change. "Kenji, what's happening to me?" DemiMeramon asked frantically. Kenji just replied with a silent jaw drop as he watched DemiMeramon's power levels rise dramatically, no amount of training had done this before. Then, just as quick as it had begun, it ended and standing, or floating rather, in DemiMeramon's place was Candlemon. "You digivolved Demi...er should I say Candlemon." Candlemon looked at himself and smiled, "Sweeeet."
